Gas Safety Check

Gas Safety Certificate or CP12

Do I need a Gas Safety Certificate?

As a landlord, you’ll need a Gas Safety Certificate or CP12 for each gas appliance in your rental property. It’s a legal requirement and each individual certificate has to be renewed every year. Without them you risk a hefty fine, and the appliances may be unsafe for tenants to use.

How much does a Gas Safety Certificate cost?
£60 - This includes up to 4 items.

What’s included with the service?

Our engineer will make sure your boiler is safe and working well. And you’ll get a checklist of everything we’ve done.

The engineer will:

  • Check for leaks and signs of wear

  • Test the gas pressure

  • Make sure there no carbon monoxide leaks

  • Complete your landlord Gas Safety Certificate

For existing homeowners, letting agents and landlords

Gas safety certificates are extremely important to ensure the safety of each property in the U.K. In fact, for all properties that are rented out and have gas appliances, it's the law to have a gas safety certificate issued by a Gas Safe Registered engineer each and every year. Don't neglect your gas appliances, have them checked and signed off by a qualified expert by giving Rapid Response 24/7 Plumbing & Heating Ltd a call or book online.
